Check Control Module Versions (function 01)
- Connect VAS 5051 vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system or VAG 1551 scan tool and select address word 03 for "Brake electronics"

Note: The following instructions describe the diagnostic procedure for VAG 1551 scan tool. The procedure when using VAS 5051 vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system is similar.

- Go to start position of program by pressing (arrow) button





Indicated on display
- Press buttons -0- and -1- for the function "Check Control Module Versions" and confirm entry with -Q- button.

Note: Also refer to the Parts List for the correct ABS control module (w/EDL) J104- for the vehicle.





Indicated on display (Allroad = all wheel drive)
Index 1) Indicates Part No. with control module index.
Index 2), Indicates system designation.
Index 3), Indicates hardware and software status.
