Fuel Filler Tube With Reservoir - Component Overview







1. 2 Nm
2. Heat shield
- For fuel filler tube
3. Hose connection
- For vent line to EVAP canister
4. Hose connections
- For vent lines to fuel tank
- Mark line when separating
5. Hose connection
- For fuel filling line
6. Hose connection
- For vent line to fuel tank
7. Ground (GND) connection
- Installed position / check requirements, See Fig. 1.
- Ensure secure seating of connector and secure wire with front securing bolt for fuel filler tube -item
- After installing, check electrical connection of metal ring at fuel filler tube to a blank portion of chassis using Ohm meter. Specified value: approx. 0 Ohm
8. Rubber top
9. Tensioning ring
10. Sealing element
- For fuel nozzle
- Replace if damaged
11. Seal
- Replace if damaged
12. Cap
13. Overflow hose
14. Fuel filler tube with reservoir
- With valves and hoses
- Can only be replaced as complete unit
15. Bolt M8 x 30 with permanent washer
- Tighten to 23 Nm

NOTE: Check the installation position with fuel tank/fuel filler tube removed.

- Route Ground (GND) connection (arrow) as shown in figure.
- Ensure Ground (GND) connection connector fits securely at metal ring of fuel filler tube.
- Check whether contact is locked at edge of securing hole.







- Bolt wire contact -1- with securing bolt -2- for fuel filler tube.

WARNING: After installing, check electrical connection of metal ring at fuel filler tube to a blank portion of chassis using Ohm meter:
- Specified value: approx. 0 Ohm
