1 - Hex bolt, 75 Nm

7 - Self-locking nut, 45 Nm

10 - Upper front link
^ Removing and installing mounting bracket

12 - Hex bolt, 70 Nm plus an additional 180° 1/2 turn
^ Always replace if removed

13 - Lower guide link
^ Removing and installing guide link
Hydro-bushing must be replaced if leaking

14 - Self-locking nut, 110 Nm
^ Always replace if removed

15 - Wheel bearing housing
^ In vehicles with headlight range control, refer to notes on removing and installing sensor

16 - Collared bolt
^ Always replace if removed
^ Observe specified sequence when loosening, and tightening
^ Tightening torque

17 - Collared bolt, 10 Nm
18 - Splash plate
19 - Self-locking nut
^ Always replace if removed

20 - Hex bolt, 90 Nm
21 - Subframe support
^ Tunnel crossmember can be installed instead of subframe support
^ Removing and installing tunnel crossmember

22 - Hex bolt, 55 Nm
23 - Hex bolt
^ 110 Nm plus an additional 90° 1/4 turn
^ Always replace if removed
^ Thread in body can be repaired using wire thread insert according to DIN 8140 (Helicoil). The thread insert must be of same length as the thread in the body.

24 - Hex bolt
^ 40 Nm plus an additional 90° 1/4 turn
^ Always replace if removed

25 - Connecting link
26 - Hex bolt
^ 40 Nm plus an additional 90° 1/4 turn
^ Always replace if removed

27 - Lower track control link
^ For vehicles with headlight range control, refer to notes on removing and installing sensor
^ Removing and installing track control link

28 - Hex bolt, 70 Nm plus an additional 180° 1 1/2 turn
^ Always replace if removed

29 - Hex bolt, 75 Nm
^ Always replace if removed
^ Thread in body can be repaired using wire thread insert according to DIN 8140 (Helicoil). The thread insert must be of the same length as the thread in the body.

30 - Subframe
^ Different versions
^ For vehicles with headlight range control, refer to notes on removing and installing sensor
^ Removing and installing
^ Replacing bonded rubber bushings in subframe
^ Removing and installing tunnel crossmember

31 - Self-locking nut
^ Always replace if removed

32 - Self-locking nut
^ Always replace if removed

33 - Multi-point socket-head bolt
^ First tighten all bolts to an initial torque of 15 Nm, then tighten all bolts to final specified torque
^ Tightening torques:
M8 bolt: 40 Nm
M10 bolt: 70 Nm

34 - Lock plate
35 - Drive axle
^ Removing and installing

36 - Hex bolt
^ Always replace if removed

37 - Self-locking nut
^ 50 Nm plus an additional 90° 1/4 turn
^ Always replace if removed

38 - Collared nut
^ 50 Nm
^ Always replace if removed
