Clutch with SAC pressure plate (LuK version), servicing, 0A3, 6 Spd. M/T AWD






1 - Dual-mass flywheel

2 - Needle bearing

3 - Bolt for flywheel
^ Replace
^ Bolt length: 22.5 mm; 60 Nm + 90° further
^ Bolt length: 43 mm; 60 Nm + 180° further

4 - Clutch plate
^ Installation position: Clutch lining must make full contact with flywheel
^ The marking Transmission end (transmission side), if provided, faces towards pressure plate/transmission.
^ Coil springs (damper assembly) point towards pressure plate and transmission

5 - SAC pressure plate

6 - Bolt, 22 Nm





Check SAC pressure plate for distortion, cracks and burns

^ Pressure plate distortion up to 1.0 mm is allowed





Removing dual-mass flywheel

Note:
^ Do not use an impact wrench or pneumatic wrench to remove bolts - B -: this would severely damage the dual-mass flywheel. Bolts - B - must always be removed by hand.

- Rotate flywheel - A - so that bolts - B - are aligned centrally behind the holes - arrows -.
- When unscrewing bolts - B -, make sure the bolt heads do not contact the flywheel - arrows - because this would damage the flywheel when the bolts are turned further.
