All-Wheel Drive Control Module - J492-, Removing and Installing



Special Tools and Equipment






- VAG1331 Torque Wrench


Removing

- Switch off ignition.






- Disconnect harness connector at rear final drive.






- Connector for Haldex clutch pump (arrow 1).

- Place appropriate receptacle underneath final drive.

- Remove bolts (arrow 2).

- Remove control module.


Installing

Installation is reverse of removal, noting the following:






- Replace O-rings - A - and - B -

- Tighten bolts to 6 Nm.

- Check oil level in the Haldex coupling oil in the Haldex coupling if necessary.
