A/C - Blows Warm Air/Engine Compartment Noise

Affected vehicles
87 A/C system discharging warm air and engine vibrating or noisy
Condition
A/C system discharging warm air, may be accompanied by noise from the engine compartment and/or engine vibration at 3500 RPM.
Engine compartment noise and/or engine vibration must be accompanied by A/C warm air discharge for this Technical Service Bulletin to apply.
Technical Background
This issue may be due to an overcharge condition of the A/C system.
Production Solution
Refrigerant charge corrected.
Service
1. Discharge, evacuate and recharge the A/C system. See Repair Manual >> Air Conditioning >> Repair Group 87, noting the following:
a. Evacuate the A/C system for a minimum of 30 minutes.
b. Recharge the A/C system with a maximum R-134a charge of 650 ± 20g.
NOTE: The repair order must include the amount (in grams) of A/C refrigerant recovered.
2. Apply new A/C recharge specification label (Part No. 8N0 010 515A).
