11) Software status of Engine Control Module (ECM), ABS and Transmission Control Module (TCM) or instrument cluster do not match, or an incorrect Transmission Control Module could also have been installed.

Notes on DTC 18031/P1623:
^ The exchange of data and information between the Engine Control Module (ECM), ABS control module, Transmission Control Module (TCM) and instrument cluster is carried out over the CAN bus. All information signals are transmitted over 2 leads.
^ The Transmission Control Module (TCM) can send signals and data, but it cannot receive anything.
