1 - Seat height adjuster
- Removing
- Remove seat.
- Attach fixture for seat repair VAS 6136 to engine and transmission holder VAS 6095.
- Attach front seat to fixture for seat repair VAS 6136.
- Make improvised tool.
- Pull seat height adjuster - 1 - slightly off seat.
- Insert improvised tool - 2 - in mount - 4 -.
- Pull improvised tool - 2 - in direction of arrow - A - to press spring - 3 - outward.
- Remove seat height adjuster - 1 - in direction of arrow - B -.
- Installing
- Make sure clip is attached to lever of seat height adjuster. Observe installation position.
- Install seat height adjuster - 1 - in reverse order of removal.

4 - Mount







Making improvised tool for removing seat height adjuster.
- Bend screwdriver - 1 - with a width - 2 - of 3.5 mm to form dimensions - A - 20 mm and B - max. 15 mm.







Installation position of clip
- Make sure springs - 2 - (2x) of clip - 3 - are positioned on outside of lever - 1 -.
