Front Drive Axle With 100 mm Dia. Inner Constant Velocity Joint

Note:
^ Constant velocity joints are packed with grease G 000 603:








1 - Bolt
^ Always replace if removed
^ Loosening
^ Tightening
^ Tightening torque

2 - Outer CV joint
^ Replace only as a complete assembly
^ Removing
^ Installing
^ Greasing
^ Checking

3 - Snap ring
^ Always replace
^ Insert in ring groove on shaft before installation (not visible on installed joint)

4 - Clamp
^ Always replace

5 - Boot for outer CV joint
^ Check for tears and chafing, replace if necessary
^ Check outer constant velocity joint, if boot is damaged
^ To equalize pressure, lift boot before tensioning clamp.
^ Sealing surfaces must be free of grease when assembling.

6 - Drive axle
^ For correct version see Parts catalog

7 - Cover
^ Always replace

8 - Gasket
^ Always replace

9 - Circlip
^ Always replace
^ For correct version see Parts catalog
^ Insert in groove on shaft

10 - Inner constant velocity joint
^ Outside diameter: 100 mm
^ Replace only as a complete assembly
^ Removing
^ Installing
^ Greasing
^ Bonding surfaces must be free of oil and grease
^ Checking

11 - Bracket plate
12 - Socket-head bolt
^ For correct version see Parts catalog

13 - CV joint boot with cap
^ Check inner constant velocity joint if boot is damaged
^ Check for tears and chafing
^ Replace only as a complete assembly
^ Removing
^ Installing
^ Sealing surfaces (drive axle boot and cap) must be free from grease when assembling
