Grease triple roller joints with grease G 000 605.





Regrease joint when replacing CV boot.





1 - Bolt
^ Always replace if removed
^ Loosening
^ Tightening
^ Tightening torque

2 - Clamp
^ Always replace

3 - CV boot
^ Check for tears and chafing
^ Before tightening clamp, briefly lift edge of CV boot to allow pressure to equalize.

4 - Hose clip
^ Always replace

5 - Socket-head bolt
^ For correct version Parts catalog

6 - Joint body
7 - Triple roller joint with rollers
Chamfer - arrow - faces drive axle splines

8 - Circlip
^ Always replace

9 - O-ring
^ Always replace

10 - Cover
^ Always replace

11 - Clamp
^ For triple roller joint
^ Always replace

12 - Triple roller joint boot
^ Check for splits and chafing
^ Before tightening clamp, briefly lift edge of CV boot to allow pressure to equalize. The joint must be in the center position.

13 - Drive axle
14 - Snap ring
^ Always replace
^ Insert in shaft groove

15 - Outer constant velocity (CV) joint
^ Replace only as a complete assembly
^ Installing: drive onto shaft with plastic hammer until compressed snap ring seats
^ Greasing
^ Checking.
