Steering Wheel (Standard Steering Wheel), Assembly Overview







1 - Torx bolts T30(2x)
- Tightening torque 7 Nm
2 - Steering wheel
- Removing
- Remove airbag unit (standard steering wheel).
- Center steering wheel (wheels in straight-ahead position).
- Remove bolt - 7 -.
- Disconnect connector for coil - 3 -.
- Heated steering wheel: Disconnect connector for heated steering wheel - 8 -.
- Remove steering wheel - 2 -.
- Installing
- Installation is in reverse order of removal.
- Ensure that connector and catch engage fully (i.e. audibly).
- Attach steering wheel in center position (wheels in straight-ahead position).
- Replace bolt - 7 - and tighten to 50 Nm.

4 - Connector for airbag unit
5 - Airbag unit
6 - Horn connector
7 - Multi-point socket head bolt
- Tightening torque 50 Nm
8 - Connector for heated steering wheel
9 - Self-cancelling ring with slip ring
