Continuously Variable Transmission/Transaxle: Service Precautions

Towing instructions, 01J, CVT A/T FWD

CAUTION: When towing the vehicle, selector lever must be in position "N" and the vehicle must not be towed for more than 50 km and no faster than 50 km/h, since the transmission will otherwise be seriously damaged.

Note:
^ It is not possible to tow-start the vehicle (e.g. if the battery is too weak or the starter not operating).
