Steering Wheel (standard Steering Wheel), Assembly Overview







1. Torx bolts T30 (2x)
- Tightening torque 7 Nm

2. Steering wheel
- Removing
- Remove airbag unit (standard steering wheel).
- Center steering wheel (wheels in straight-ahead position).
- Remove bolt - 7 -.
- Disconnect connector for coil - 3 -.
- Heated steering wheel: Disconnect connector for heated steering wheel - 8 -.
- Remove steering wheel - 2 -.

- Installing
- Installation is in reverse order of removal.
- Ensure that connector and catch engage fully (i.e. audibly).
- Attach steering wheel in center position (wheels in straight-ahead position).
- Replace bolt - 7. and tighten to 50 Nm.

6. Horn connector
7. Multi-point socket head bolt
- Tightening torque 50 Nm

8. Connector for heated steering wheel
9. Self-cancelling ring with slip ring
