5. Electrical harness connector
- For Fuel Tank Lock Switch -F314-

7. Heat shield
- For fuel filler tube

- Serves to secure fuel filler tube and Ground (GND) connection (item 14)

- Replace if damaged

- Ensure secure seating of connector and secure wire with securing bolt for fuel filler tube (item 8)
- After installing, check electrical connection of metal ring at fuel filler tube to a blank portion of chassis using Ohm meter.
Specified value: approx. 0 Ohm

- Route Ground (GND) connection as shown in figure.
- First, engage contact -1- of Ground (GND) connection into securing opening on fuel tank -5- and then press in spacer bushing -2-.
- Ensure connector -4- of Ground (GND) connection fits securely at metal ring -3- of fuel filler tube.
CAUTION: After installing, check electrical connection of metal ring at fuel filler tube to a blank portion of chassis using Ohm meter:
