^ Coat lightly with gear oil when installing

- Remove circlip before pressing out flanged shaft.

- Press on vibration damper before pressing in flanged shaft go to Fig. 4.
- Install circlip.

A - Washer
Part no. 016 311 391 B (1.7 mm thick)
B - Seal
- Pack space between sealing and dust lips half full with sealing grease.
- Install washer and seal onto tool as illustrated.
^ Installation position: Open side of seal faces toward bearing housing
