Tunnel-side Side Trim, Removing And Installing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required







- Engine and transmission holder VAS 6095







- Fixture for seat repair VAS 6136







- Removal
- Remove seat.
- Mount the fixture for seat repair VAS 6136 on the engine and transmission holder VAS 6095.
- Attach the front seat to the fixture for seat repair VAS 6136.
- Loosen footwell cover retaining strip from side panel.
- Position a screwdriver to head of plastic rivet - 2 - (2x).
- Pry out plastic rivet - 2 - (2x) by turning the screwdriver.
- Disengage side panel - 1 - toward top.

- Installing
Installation is reverse of removal. When doing so, note the following:
- Slide footwell fastening strip into side trim bracket

- Disengage retaining strip - 1 - on footwell cover - 2 - from brackets - 4 - (2x) on side panel - 3 -.
