Cylinder Head Assembly: Specifications

Cylinder head

^ Replace cylinder head bolts.





Insert new cylinder head bolts and tighten by hand.

Tighten cylinder head in sequence indicated, in 3 stages as follows:
Using a torque wrench, tighten to 40 Nm
With Torx key, additional turn 90° (1/4 turn)
With Torx key, additional turn 90° (1/4 turn)





Tighten bolts - arrows - to 9 Nm.
Left cylinder head: 3 bolts.
Right cylinder head: 4 bolts.

Camshafts








- Hand-tighten bearing bracket bolts equally, in sequence - 1 through 22 -.

- Fasten bearing bracket bolts in sequence - 22 through 1 - until they stop.
