^ VW 402 Thrust plate
^ VW 407 Thrust tool
^ VW 412 Thrust tool
^ VW 432 Thrust pad
^ VW 447 H Thrust pad

^ 3116 Spring pin
^ 3118 Thrust piece
^ - 1 - Kukko 21/5 Internal puller
^ - 3 - Kukko 17/2 Separating tool
^ - 4 - Kukko 22/1 Counter support

Note: The shims for Torsen, differential have to be re-determined after replacing following components:





^ End cover
^ Inner race for needle bearing
^ Torsen differential
^ Torsen differential ball bearing


1 - Ball bearing
^ For Torsen differential
^ Pressing off go to Fig. 1
^ Pressing on go to Fig. 2

2 - Torsen differential
^ Do not disassemble
^ Servicing only at manufacturer
^ Replace, if damaged





3 - Inner race
^ For Torsen differential needle bearing
^ Pulling off go to Fig. 3
^ Pressing on go to Fig. 4

4 - Needle bearing
^ For drive pinion/Torsen differential
^ Pulling out go to Fig. 5
^ Pressing in go to Fig. 6
