Engine - Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair

Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor G62, removing and installing

Removing
- Drain the coolant Cooling system, draining and filling.





- Remove front engine cover - arrows -.





- Disconnect electrical harness connector - 2 - at Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor G62.
- Remove retaining clip - 1 - and Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor G62.

Installing
Installation is in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Note: Replace O-ring.

- Fill with coolant.
