Front Bumper, Removing And Installing

Assembly overview







1. Bumpers

NOTE: On vehicles with ACC you must remove the heated cover and disconnect the electrical connections before removing the bumper.

- Lock carrier cover removed
- Bumper, removing and installing
- License plate holder, removing and installing
When installing, catch - arrow - must engage behind fender - 4 -

2. Combination screw
- M6 x 50 mm
- 8 Nm
3. Torx screw
- 3.5 Nm
4. Bracket

- M6 x 25mm

6. Fender

Allroad vehicles
Only the differences from the standard bumper are described







1. Bumpers
- The removal and installation is done as with standard bumpers.

- 2 Nm

4. Spoiler
- Bumper removed
- Spoiler is clipped with bumper.
- To remove, release clips in stages.
5. Impact protection
- To remove, remove bolts - 2 - and - 3 -, slide impact protection forward slightly out of the spoiler and remove.
6. Window
7. Quick release screw
- 4 Nm

- These screws are located under wheel housing liner.
- 1.5 Nm

3. Spring nut
4. Locking washer
5. Quick release screw
- 4 Nm
6. Hex nut
- 4 Nm
- Loosen or tighten these nuts with special tool Socket T40078.
7. Grommet
