Glove Compartment Cover

Removing





- Remove glove compartment. Refer to => [ Glove Compartment ] Glove Compartment.

- Remove hinge pins - 1 - from lid dampening mechanism - 2 -.

- Disconnect the connector - 1 -.





- Remove screws - arrows - and remove positioning motor - 2 -.

- Remove cable - 3 - with adjustment nut on bracket.





- Remove protective cover - 2 - on positioning motor - 1 -.

- Turn cable - 3 - and press retaining bolts - 2 - out of operating rod - 1 -.





- Remove cable.

- Place glove compartment on upper side.





- Remove clamping screws - 2 - with a punch dia. 4 mm - 1 - from left side.

- Remove clamping screws - 3 - with a screwdriver - 4 - from right side - arrow -.

- Open glove compartment cover by pulling cable.

- Remove glove compartment cover and lead cable out of glove compartment.

Installation

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

- Adjust glove compartment cover cable. Refer to => [ Glove Compartment Cover Cable, Adjusting ] Glove Compartment Cover Cable, Adjusting.

- Install glove compartment. Refer to => [ Installing ] Glove Compartment.
