2 Window shaft strip
• Window frame and window regulator removed
• Release clip and remove it.
• Drill off rivet heads, knock rivet shafts through and remove window trim strip upward.
• On vehicles with gloss package, window frames do not have to be removed to remove chromed trim moldings.
• When installing, press window shaft trim on beginning at rear end of door.
• Dimension - a - = 0 to 0.5 mm.
• Rivet window trim strip beginning from rear and clip it at end with clip - 3 -.

Vehicles with Gloss Package
• On vehicles with gloss package, window shaft strip is in two pieces.
• The chromed trim molding can be replaced without removing window frame.
- Exterior rearview mirror on front doors removed. Refer to=> [ Exterior Rearview Mirror ] Exterior Rearview Mirror.
- Tape off vehicle door with adhesive tape - 2 - below window shaft strip - 1 -.
- Bend window shaft strip - 1 - back - arrow -.
- The support - 2 - remains riveted or clipped in vehicle.
- Pry window shaft strip - 1 - upward from support at sides using plastic wedge.
- Lightly flare trim strip - 1 - at upper edge - arrows - with plastic wedge.
- Coat this edge and the support with soapy solution.
- Insert window shaft strip - 1 - from above and press it completely onto support.
- Remove adhesive tape - 2 - after successful installation.
