Fuel Level Sensor 2, Right Lever Sensor

Removing

Observe safety precautions. Refer to => [ Safety Precautions ] Safety Precautions.

Observe rules for cleanliness. Refer to => [ Clean Working Conditions ] Clean Working Conditions.

CAUTION!
• To remove the lever-type sensor, fuel tank should be completely empty. Procedure to empty the fuel tank. Refer to => [ Fuel Tank, Draining ] Procedures.

- Remove the right fuel delivery unit:

• Vehicles with MPI engine. Refer to => [ Right Fuel Delivery Unit with Fuel Pump ] MPI Engines.

• Vehicles with FSI engine. Refer to => [ Right Fuel Delivery Unit with Fuel Pump ] FSI Engines.

- Remove right Fuel Level Sensor 4 (G393) (tubular sensor) out of fuel tank.

- Release the Fuel Level Sensor 2 (G169) - arrow - and pull it off from the mounting.





Installing

- Insert Fuel Level Sensor 2 (G169) in mount until it engages audibly.

- Insert Fuel Level Sensor 4 (G393) in fuel tank.

- Install the right fuel delivery unit:

• Vehicles with MPI engine. Refer to => [ Right Fuel Delivery Unit with Fuel Pump ] MPI Engines.

• Vehicles with FSI engine. Refer to => [ Right Fuel Delivery Unit with Fuel Pump ] FSI Engines.
