Oxygen Sensor after Catalytic Converter, Bank 2

Removing

- Disconnect electrical connector - 3 - of oxygen sensor 2, bank 2.





2 4-pin connection for oxygen sensor 1 and heater, bank 1.
3 4-pin connection for oxygen sensor 2 and heater, bank 2.

- Open all cable ties on transmission for oxygen sensor 2 electrical wiring connection.

- Remove oxygen sensor - arrow - using tool from Ring Spanner 7 piece set (3337).





Installing

Installation of oxygen sensor is in reverse order of removal. Note the following.

• Wires of oxygen sensors must always be secured in the same position when installing so that contact with the exhaust pipe is avoided.





• New oxygen sensors are coated with assembly paste; the paste must not get into slots of oxygen sensor body.

• For a used oxygen sensor, only coat threads with hot bolt paste. This paste must not come into contact with sensor slots.
