Planetary transmission, 09E, 6 Speed A/T





Allocation of various ATF part numbers to corresponding engine:

CAUTION:
A different ATF is used in vehicles with 12-cylinder engine, than vehicles with 8 cylinder gasoline engine and 8-cylinder TDI engine.
Also, observe the allocation in replacement.

For all engines except 12-cylinder engine
^ - 1.0 L - Part no. G 055 005 A2 (Shell ATF M-1375.04)

For 12-cylinder engines
^ 1.0 L - Part no. G 055 162 A2 (Shell ATF M-1375.06)
^ 2.0 L - Part no. G 055 162 A6 (Shell ATF M-1375.06)

Note:
^ Only use the ATF available as a replacement part for the planetary gearing in automatic transmission 09E. Other oils can cause malfunctions or transmission failure.

Check ATF level and top off.


Transfer case, 09E, 6 Speed A/T





Axle oil SAE 75 W 90 (synthetic oil) is available as a replacement part. Container sizes
^ 0.5 L - Part no. G 052 145 A1
^ 1.0 L - Part no. G 052 145 S2

Gear oil level in transfer case, checking and topping off.



Front final drive, 09E, 6 Speed A/T





Axle oil SAE 75 W 90 (synthetic oil) is available as a replacement part. Container sizes

Gear oil level in front final drive, checking and topping off.
