CONDITION

Bang & Olufsen tweeters make noises when moved out.

TECHNICAL BACKGROUND





The distance between the moved-out tweeters and the windshield is too small.

PRODUCTION SOLUTION

Wedges for easier dashboard alignment.

SERVICE

1. Move the entire dashboard toward the back of the car so there is the maximum possible distance between tweeter and windshield. Make sure that the distance can reduce as the temperature in the vehicle increases.

2. If the tweeters still touch the windshield, contact an Audi Technical Assistance Center consultant.

The tweeter cannot be realigned; tweeter replacement therefore does not address the condition.

REQUIRED PARTS AND TOOLS

Replacing the tweeter does not fix the problem. Unjustified replaced parts will be debited.
