Suspension Blocks, Installing
Suspension Blocks, Installing
If pressure is lost in the air suspension shock absorbers, the vehicle does not have sufficient ground clearance.
The vehicle must not be moved in this condition.
To drive onto a car transporter or a lift, for example, suspension blocks must be installed.
This increases the ground clearance.
CAUTION!
• The vehicle is not in driveable condition when suspensions blocks are installed.
• The vehicle can only be moved.
• When moving steering wheel from center position, do not turn more than one left or right.
• After completing suspension block installation, inspect areas around front suspension strut mounts for possible body damage and repair if necessary.
• The upper rear control arms on the front axle must be replaced before the vehicle can be driven again.
