Head bevel gear/input shaft is removed from rear axle housing.





- Press off large tapered roller bearing inner race from head bevel gear.

Separating device 22 to 115 mm, e.g. Kukko 17/2





- Press inner race for small tapered roller bearing from input shaft.

Separating device 22 to 115 mm, e.g. Kukko 17/2





- Pull outer race for large tapered roller bearing off cover.

A - Two arm puller e.g. Kukko 20/10 with Matra V/170 hooks.





- Drive outer race for small tapered roller bearing out of rear axle housing.

Note: Differential removed.

Assembling





- Press outer race for small tapered roller bearing into rear axle housing.





- Press large tapered roller bearing inner race onto head bevel gear.





- Press small tapered roller bearing inner race onto input shaft.





- Press outer race for large tapered roller bearing into cover.
