Rear Brakes, AWD, Assembly Overview
1 - Hex socket head bolt - 65 Nm
2 - Brake carrier
^ With guide pins and protective cap
^ Supplied as replacement part assembled with sufficient grease on guide pins
^ Install repair kit in the event of damage to protective caps; use pad provided to grease guide pins.
3 - Bolt - 35 Nm
^ Self-locking
^ Replace each time after removing
^ When loosening and tightening counter hold on guide pin
4 - Brake hose/line
^ With banjo bolt and seals
^ After unscrewing banjo bolt, replace banjo bolt with angled sealing element
^ Tighten banjo bolt to 38 Nm
5 - Brake caliper housing
6 - Brake pads
^ When worn always replace both sides
7 - Pad retaining springs
^ Always replace when changing pads
8 - Backing plate
9 - Bolt - 10 Nm
10 - Brake disc
^ Never remove brake discs from hub by force. If necessary use penetrating fluid, otherwise brake discs can be damaged.
^ When worn always replace both sides
11 - Phillips-head screw - 4 Nm
12 - Wheel hub with rotor
13 - Circlip
14 - Wheel bearing
15 - Trailing arm
16 - Speed sensor
17 - Hex head bolt
18 - Parking brake cable
