1) Adjustment work is necessary when replacing these parts.





1 - Twelve-point nut for shaft bevel gear
^ Unfastening
^ Fastening
^ Insert with locking fluid D 154 000 A1

2 - Small tapered roller bearing inner race 1)
^ Removing
^ Installing

3 - Small tapered roller bearing outer race 1)
^ Pressing out
^ Pressing in
^ Insert with locking fluid D 154 000 A1

4 - Drive pinion housing 1)
^ Removing and installing Drive pinion housing, removing and installing

5 - Seals
^ For shaft bevel gear
^ Pulling out
^ Joining
^ Inserting in installation position
^ Driving in

6 - Large tapered roller bearing outer race 1)
^ Pressing out
^ Pressing in
^ Insert with locking fluid D 154 000 A1

7 - Large tapered roller bearing inner race 1)
^ Pulling off
^ Pressing on

8 - Spacer sleeve
^ Always replace

9 - Shaft bevel gear 1)
^ Is matched to head bevel gear
^ Clean locking compound from threads





Hole - arrow - on drive pinion housing
^ If oil escapes from hole - arrow -, seals for shaft bevel gear must be replaced.
