1 Floor Covering

Removing

- Remove front seats.

- Remove the rear bench seat. Refer to => [ Rear Bench Seat ] Rear Bench Seat.

- Remove lower A-pillar trim. Refer to => [ Lower A-Pillar Trim ] Lower A-Pillar Trim.

- Remove sill panel trim. Refer to => [ Sill Panel Strip ] Sill Panel Strip.

- Remove steering column universal joint cover.

- Remove driver side storage compartment. Refer to => [ Driver Side Storage Compartment ] Driver Side Storage Compartment.

- Remove base support cover. Refer to => [ Base Support Cover and Bracket ] Base Support Cover and Bracket.

- Remove the accelerator pedal.

- Remove footwell vent trim. Refer to => [ Footwell Vent Trim ] Footwell Vent Trim.

- Remove center console. Refer to => [ Center Console ] Center Console.

- Remove lower seat belt. Refer to => [ Front Three-Point Seat Belt ] Front Three-Point Seat Belt.

- Pull floor covering - 1 - toward rear.

- Fold floor covering - 1 - lengthwise and remove through a door.

Installation

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

• Floor covering rips easily from cut-outs. Carefully install floor covering in vehicle.

- When installing floor mat, remove transport brace - arrow A -.

- Slide floor mat - 1 - all the way forward until the pattern holes in the base support - arrow C -, accelerator pedal - arrow B - and accelerator pedal stop - arrow D - align.
