Zero Position Adjustment For Sunroof Operation, Adjusting
NOTE:
- A zero adjustment is necessary, if:
- Sunroof motor was not removed in zero position.
- Sunroof was opened or closed via emergency operation.
- Parts of sunroof operation were removed and installed.
- Remove boots.
- Close sunroof.
- Slide sunroof headliner completely toward rear.
- Remove sunroof motor.
- Left and right guide pin - 1 - must be located centered to marking - 2 - on guide plate.
NOTE: Illustration depicts glass sunroof panel as removed.
- Connect electrical harness connector - 4 - for voltage supply to removed sunroof motor.
- Connect electrical harness connector - 1 - to sunroof operation switch (at interior lights).
- Select "roof opened" or "roof tilted open" using rotary switch.
- Motor automatically runs to end position
- Move rotary control to "roof closed" position.
- Motor automatically runs to zero position and switches off - markings - 2 - and - 3 - must lie opposite each other
- Install motor in this position with sunroof closed.
