Front Interior Lamp/Reading Lamp

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Special hook (3370)

Removing






- Carefully remove reading lamp cover using (3370).

- Disconnect microphone electrical harness connector - 1 -, if present.






• Ignore - 2 - and - 3 -.

- Remove screws - arrows -.






- Swivel down front interior/reading lamp and remove it out of the opening in the headliner.

- Unplug connectors.

- If equipped, release the retaining clips - arrows - and remove the interior monitoring sensor (G273) - item 1 - from the interior lamp/reading lamp.






• Disregard item - 2 -.

- If equipped, disconnect the connector - 1 - on the inside microphone for the Bose Sound System - 2 -.






Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

- Engage interior lamp and bolt on.

- Press the reading lamp cover in until it engages.
