MIL On (P0130 - O2 Sensor Circuit Malfunction)

Condition

MIL on, and the following DTCs are stored (singly or in combination) in the ECM data memory:

^ DTC P0130 (O2 Sensor Bank 1 - Sensor 1, Circuit Malfunction).

^ DTC P3255 (O2 Sensor Bank 1 - Sensor 1, Heater Circuit Regulation at Upper Limit).

^ DTC P3266 (O2 Sensor Bank 1 - Sensor 1, Internal Resistance Implausible).

Technical Background

The condition may be the result of a malfunction of the upstream O2 Sensor (Bank 1 - Sensor 1).

Production Solution

Improved production quality.

Service

1. Perform the diagnosis of the system, following the indication of Guided Fault Finding.

2. If the result of the diagnosis is inconclusive, replace the upstream O2 sensor (Sensor 1 - Bank 1).
