Windshield Washer Fluid Reservoir, Vehicles without Auxiliary Heating
Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
• Drip tray
Removing
- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
- Remove the washer fluid reservoir filler neck. Refer to => [ Washer Fluid Reservoir Filler Neck ] Washer Fluid Reservoir Filler Neck.
- Remove the front section of the front right wheel housing liner.
- Remove fog lamp. Refer to => [ Fog Lamp, through 05.2008 ] Fog Lamp, Through 05.2008.
- Place a drip tray under the windshield washer fluid reservoir.
- Disconnect the electrical connector - 5 -.
- Loosen the wiring harness - 4 - from the mount on the washer fluid reservoir.
- Open the clamp - 6 - - right arrow - and disconnect the fluid line - 7 - from the washer fluid pump.
Vehicles with headlamp washer system
- Disconnect the electrical connector - 3 -.
- Open the clamp - 2 - - left arrow - and disconnect the washer fluid line - 1 - from the pump for the headlamp washer system.
All Vehicles
- Remove bolt - 3 -.
- Remove the nuts - 1 - and then remove the windshield washer fluid reservoir - 2 -.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:
• Washer fluid hose must engage audibly into connection for washer fluid pump.
- Install fog lamp. Refer to => [ Fog Lamp, through 05.2008 ] Fog Lamp, Through 05.2008.
- Install the front section of the front right wheel housing liner.
- Install the washer fluid reservoir filler neck. Refer to => [ Washer Fluid Reservoir Filler Neck ] Washer Fluid Reservoir Filler Neck.
