Automatic Day/Night Interior Mirror, Setting

It is necessary to set LHD when:

• A new Automatic Day/Night Interior Mirror (Y7) is installed.

• In the newer Automatic Day/Night Interior Mirror (Y7), the zone sensor has been moved from the mirror base to the mirror housing. The steering side "must" only be set with these mirrors.

• To recognize the new Automatic Day/Night Interior Mirror (Y7), press the button - 2 - longer than 12 seconds; an "L" or an "A" will appear.





- Press the button - 2 - 12 to 15 seconds until "L - for LHD" or appears.

- Press the button - 2 - again; the drive side will be changed.

- The display switches automatically to "C - for calibrate" after a short time. The digital compass must now be calibrated. Refer to => [ Digital Compass, Calibrating ] Digital Compass, Calibrating.

- Make sure the interior rearview mirror automatic dimming function is activated again after setting the drive side. Refer to => [ Automatic-Dimming Function, Switching On and Off ] Automatic-Dimming Function, Switching On and Off.
