ATF Lines Assembly Overview

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Drip tray (VAG1306)

• Place drip tray (VAG1306) underneath.





1 Bolt (21Nm)

• Insert line until impact by hand before tightening

2 Oil line to cooler

• Note marking on transmission housing

3 Oil line from cooler

• Note marking on transmission housing

4 O-ring

• Apply ATF when inserting

• Always replace

5 O-ring

• Apply ATF when inserting

• Always replace

6 Bolt (5Nm)

• Insert line until impact by hand before tightening

7 O-ring

• Apply ATF when inserting

• Always replace

8 Bolt (5Nm)

• Insert line until impact by hand before tightening

9 Union nut - 29 Nm

10 Bracket

11 Hex bolt

• Does not need to be removed when removing and installing ATF lines.

12 Nut - 5 Nm

13 Clamp

14 Bracket

• On engine/transmission support
