Engine Coolant Temperature Gauge Sensor Connector

3.0L MPI

Procedure





- Remove rear engine cover - arrows -.

- Remove bolts for holding plate - 3 - for solenoid valves - arrows -.





- Remove the air guide hose - 1 - from the Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor (G70).

- Disconnect hose - 4 - from air guide - 2 -.

- Remove bolt - arrow - and disconnect air guide - 2 - from Throttle Valve Control Module (J338).





- Where present, disconnect hose - 1 - from air guide.

• For illustration purposes, the air guide is shown from the rear with engine removed.

- Disconnect connector - 2 - at Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Gauge Sensor (G2).





• Disregard item - 1 -.

Install in reverse order.
