Cylinder head

Use new cylinder head bolts and tighten by hand





Tighten 40 Nm
Additional turn 90° (1/4 turn)
Additional turn 90° (1/4 turn)

Intake manifold





Tighten intake manifold screws diagonally in stages
Tightening Specification 10 Nm

Camshaft guide frame





Hand-tighten guide frame screws evenly in numbered sequence following arrows
Final torque (10 Nm)

Exhaust manifold 25 Nm

Main bearing cap





Replace bolts A and nuts 1 to 8

Hand tighten bolts A
Tighten nuts 1 to 8 35 Nm.
Tighten nuts 1 to 8 90° (1/4 additional turn)
Tighten bolts A 20 Nm
Tighten bolts A 90° ( 1/4 turn)

Oil pump





Screw in oil pump evenly at all 4 securing points so that guide pins do not tilt
Final torque
Nuts 20 Nm plus 120°
Screws 22 Nm

Coolant pump 10 Nm
