Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• (VAS5051) with (VAS5051/1)

Test sequence

- Connect testing and information system (VAS5051 ) and select vehicle system "01 - Engine electronics" in selection. Refer to => [ VAS 5051, Connecting and Select Functions ] VAS 5051, Connecting and Select Functions. Engine must be running at idling speed.

Indicated on display:

Select function XX

- Press buttons 0 and 8 to select " Read Measuring Value Block" function 08 and press Q button to confirm input.

Indicated on display:

Read Measuring Value Block Q
Input display group number XXX

- Press buttons 0, 1 and 4 to input "display group number 14" and press Q button to confirm input.

Indicated on display:

Read Measuring Value Block 14 ->
1 2 3 4

- Check misfire detection.





If the specified value is reached:

- Press -> button.

If specified value is not attained:

- To change to display group 015, press s button.
