CAUTION:
- Technician must be grounded before disconnecting ignition and ground wiring, touching door striker or body.
- The Airbag Adapter VAS 6036 must stay connected to seat until seat is installed again.







1 - Power supply connector, seat side (red)
2 - Power supply connector, adapter side (red)
3 - Side airbag connector, adapter side (yellow)
- Disconnect ignition and ground wiring.
- Connect airbag connector - 4 - to airbag adapter connector - 3 -.
4 - Side airbag connector, seat side (yellow)

- Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051 A







- Press catch - 3 - of airbag connector - 2 - out of airbag adapter connector - 1 - and disconnect airbag connector - 2 -.
- Follow measures after connecting battery.

NOTE: If the Airbag Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) K75 shows a malfunction after assembly, DTC memory must be checked with Vehicle Diagnostic, Testing and Information System VAS 5051 A, cleared and then rechecked.
