Radio, Telephone and Navigation System Antenna, Avant

The Radio, Telephone, Navigation System Antenna ( R52) antenna wires are routed differently. The antenna wires for Navigation System with CD Drive Control Module (J401) and Satellite Radio (R146) are routed to the left up to the devices in the base mount at the left of the luggage compartment while the Telephone Antenna (R65) is placed on the right D-pillar.

- Turn off all electrical components.

- Remove ignition key.

Removing

- Remove roof end trim..

- Remove left and right D-pillar trim.

- Remove Luggage Compartment Light (W3).

- Remove left luggage compartment trim.

- Lower the rear molded headliner.

- Disconnect antenna wiring connection - arrow - at right of D-pillar.





- Loosen antenna wires up to devices in base mount.

- Remove nut - arrow - (6 Nm).





- Remove Radio, Telephone, Navigation System Antenna (R52) upward from roof.

Installing

- Install in reverse order.

The washer under the Radio, Telephone, Navigation System Antenna (R52) nut has a cut-out through which the antenna wires must be guided.
