Backrest Cover, Removing And Installing

NOTE:
- In the illustration, removal and installation of backrest cover is shown on a front seat with the active head restraint system.
- Removal and installation of backrest cover on a front seat without active head restraint system is the same.

- Always on tunnel side

4 - Backrest cover

- Removal
- Disengage footwell cover - 8 - on underside of seat at tabs - 7 - (Qty. 4) from spring mat.
- Disengage retaining strip - 2 -.
- Loosen retaining strips - 6 - (Qty. 2) from side panels.
- Press against backrest cover where indicated by arrow - 4 - to remove wire clips - 3 - (Qty. 3).
- Disengage backrest cover - 4 - upward from brackets - 5 - (Qty. 2).

- Installing
Installation is reverse of removal. When doing so, note the following:
- Replace clips - 3 - (Qty. 3).
- Slide footwell fastening strip into side trim bracket.
