The following versions are possible with the Bosch 8.0 Antilock Brake System (ABS):

• ABS/Electronic Differential Lock/Acceleration Slip Regulation/Electronic Stabilization Program (ABS/EDL/ASR/ESP)

The ABS is divided diagonally. The brake booster assist is provided pneumatically by the vacuum brake booster unit.

Malfunctions in the ABS do not influence the brake system and booster. The conventional braking system remains functional even without ABS. A change in braking behavior must be looked at. After the ABS warning lamp comes on, the rear wheels can lock early when braking!

Malfunction sources are reduced by direct connection of components named. Hydraulic control module is serviced by replacing it.
