Transmission

5-speed automatic transmission 01V is equipped with 5 hydraulically activated forward gears. When the lock-up clutch is closed these forward gears bypass the torque converter slip and become mechanically driven gears.

Torque Converter

The torque converter has a torque converter clutch. The torque converter clutch is closed depending on load and speed and mechanically drives the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gear independent of slip.
