Transmission, Securing to Assembly Stand

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Holding Fixture (VW 313)

• Engine and Transmission Holder (VW 540)

• Workshop Crane (VAS 6100)

• Lifting Tackle (T40013)

- Insert Engine Sling (T40013) into transmission lifting eye and secure.





- Engage the Workshop Crane (VAS 6100) hooks in 4th mount - arrow - of the Engine Sling (T40013).

- Lift transmission with Workshop Crane (VAS 6100 ) and Engine Sling (T40013).

- Secure the Holding Fixture (VW 540) to the transmission and tension it in the Holding Fixture ( VW 313).
