Side Trim, Tunnel Side






Front Seats

From 06.2006, the usual wiring harness routing to connector station under front seat. Refer to => [ Connectors, Disconnecting ] Front Seats has been replaced with modular wiring routing => [ Modular Wiring Routing Assembly Overview, from June 2006 ] Front Seats.

The modular wiring routing has not been implemented for all countries.

Check version of front seat and of vehicle and perform repairs accordingly.

Note the two possible versions of the modular wiring routing, Modular Light or Modular. Refer to => [ Modular Wiring Routing Versions ] Front Seats.

1 - Backrest

2 - Screws (Qty. 4)

3 - Backrest Adjusting Wheel

4 - Plastic Rivets (Qty. 2)

5 - Seat Height Adjustment Handle

6 - Side Trim (Sill Side)

7 - Connector (Qty. 3)

8 - Seat Pan

9 - Side Trim (Tunnel Side)

Removing

- Remove seat..

- Mount the fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136) on the engine and transmission holder (VAS 6095).

- Attach the front seat to the fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136).

- Place screwdriver on plastic rivet head - 10 -.

- Remove plastic rivet - 10 - by turning screwdriver.

- Remove the second plastic rivet - 10 - in the same way.

- Remove tunnel side trim - 9 - upward.

Installing

- Install side panel on tunnel side - 9 - in reverse order of removal.
