Shift Lock Solenoid

Removing





- Remove the cover for the shift mechanism. Refer to => [ Shift Mechanism Cover ] Shift Mechanism Cover.

- Disconnect the electrical harness connector on the shift lock solenoid (N110).

- Press the retaining hooks - A - into the shift mechanism - arrow - and hold it down.

• If the retaining hook - A - is broken off, the selector mechanism must be replaced.

- Tip the shift lock solenoid (N110) down and out in the direction of the - arrow - so that the ball head - 1 - disengages from the operating lever on the shift mechanism.





- Remove the shift lock solenoid (N110).

Installing

Installation is in the reverse order of removal, note the following:

- Rotate the ball head - 1 - to the correct installation position.

- Guide the shift lock solenoid (N110) diagonally from above into the shift mechanism.

- Tip the shift lock solenoid (N110) down in the opposite direction of - arrow -.

- The ball head - 1 - must be completely engaged in the operating lever on the shift mechanism.





- Secure the shift lock solenoid (N110) on the retaining hook - A -.

- Install the cover for the shift mechanism. Refer to => [ Shift Mechanism Cover ] Shift Mechanism Cover.
