Headrest Guides, Removing And Installing - vehicles From 11.04







Removing
- Push release button - 2 - in - direction of arrow A - and pull headrest - 1 - upward as far as possible - arrow B -, keep release button pushed while doing so.







- Press release button - 2 - on headrest - 1 - until stop - arrow -.
- Slide headrest down completely on rods, release button on headrest must be kept pressed while doing so.
- Remove headrest completely from headrest guides.







Headrest guide without release button:
- Remove backrest panel: Standard seat, power seat.
- Press catch - 2 - in - direction of arrow A - and press retaining claws in - direction of arrow B -.
- Pull headrest guide - 1 - upward out of mount.

NOTE: Headrest guide cannot be removed without destroying it.







Headrest guide with release button:
- Remove backrest panel: Standard seat, power seat.
- Disengage catch - 2 - in - direction of arrow - and pull headrest guide - 1 - upward at the same time and out of mount.

Installing
Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:
- The headrest guide can only be inserted in one position.
- Guide lug of headrest guide must engage in cut-out of mount for headrest guide.
