• Before disconnecting battery: Obtain radio code.





1 - Front Seat

• Removing

- Remove the front seat rail covers.

• Front seat rail cover - vehicles through 10.2002.

• Seat rail cover - vehicles from 10.2002.

- Remove rear seat rail covers:

• Rear seat rail cover - vehicles through 10.2002.

• Seat rail cover - vehicles from 10.2002.

- Push front seat - 1 - fully upward and to the rear.

- Remove bolts - 2 - (Qty. 2) at front.

- Move seat forward.

- Remove bolts - 2 - (Qty. 2) at rear.

CAUTION!
Before removing seat: Disconnect the battery ground strap.

- Tip front seat - 1 - back.

- Disconnect harness connectors. Refer to => [ Connectors, Disconnecting ] Power Front Memory Seats.

- Connect airbag adapter. Refer to => [ Airbag Adapter, Connecting ] Power Front Memory Seats.

• Installing

- To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order.

2 - Screws (Qty. 4)

• Vehicles through 04.2003 (vehicles where the upper seat pan frame is attached to the seat rails - lower seat pan frame)

• 40 Nm

• Vehicles from 04.2003 (vehicles where the upper seat pan frame is welded to the seat rails - lower seat pan frame)

• 50 Nm
